Punched Pages Held Flat Behind a Blue Gloss Cover
Marbig code 2002001 is the A4 Deluxe flat file in blue, sold singly. Punched sheets drop over a two prong fastener, a full length title strip runs down the cover, and a vertical pocket inside the back cover takes anything that is not punched.
A flat file is the answer when a report has to be handed over rather than stored. Punch the sheets, drop them over the prongs and the document travels as one object, in order, with a title written along the strip. Blue carries no particular urgency, which makes it a reasonable default for policies, procedures and the standing files that circulate inside a department.
The vertical pocket takes the covering note, the signed page or anything else that should not be punched, so one object leaves the desk instead of two. Marbig give the file as 238 mm in length, 2 mm in width and 312 mm in height, which is the only measurement they publish for it.
The other Deluxe colours and the Premier files are listed under display folders. A punch to match is in 2 hole paper punches, and the rest of the brand is under Marbig.
