An Archive Box Whose Lid Stays With It
Marbig 80022E is a brown kraft archive box with the lid hinged to the back wall, graded Medium Strength on the box and sold here as a carton of 10.
Separate lids have a habit of wandering off once boxes start moving between shelves and desks. Here the lid is part of the box: it swings up on its hinge to load or check the contents, then closes back down over the files. It suits foolscap folders, lever arch files or ring binders according to ACCO, with outside measurements of 420mm by 315mm by 260mm high.
Its Medium Strength panel is printed with a 25kg limit and a 5 high stacking figure, and the box is built with double end walls and a double layer base. Each end has a hand hole under the Ref. No. and a ruled date and contents area. Folding instructions are printed on the base as a diagram with numbered steps for both the box and the lid, which helps when a new starter is making up a carton of boxes.
