Compact Duramat Coverage For Carpeted Studies
Marbig 87220 is the small Duramat keyhole chairmat, made from clear PVC and rated by ACCO for low pile carpet up to 6mm.
Not every desk needs a big mat. A single pedestal desk in a study, a hot desk or a narrow home office corner only needs the area the chair actually rolls over, and a smaller mat leaves more of the room clear. The keyhole tongue slides under the desk front so the chair can be drawn right in.
The Duramat range uses what Marbig call a unique PVC formulation, described as clearer and more durable, and ACCO state the PVC is phthalate free. Grippers underneath settle into the carpet to stop the mat creeping, and the textured top is described by ACCO as scuff and slip resistant.
On size, ACCO give two figures for this code, 90 x 120cm in the product name and 91 x 121cm in the specification table, so measure with a little margin. The mat is intended for carpet and is not listed for hard floors. ACCO show a 2 year warranty.
