Black A4 Binders for Deep Two Ring Archive Runs
Marbig code 5422002B is a pack of twelve black A4 binders. Each one runs a 50mm mechanism of two D shaped rings, which ACCO Brands rate at up to 400 sheets for one binder.
The Clearview construction is polypropylene glued to board, a method ACCO Brands say eliminates crinkling and adds strength and durability, and they publish the polypropylene as acid free and copy safe. Front, back and spine carry a clear non glare overlay for printed inserts, and a pocket on the inside cover takes loose material.
At 50mm ACCO Brands rate each binder at up to 400 sheets, so a run of subject files can go into fewer and thicker volumes with fewer spines to read along the shelf. Black keeps a storeroom run looking uniform, and a pack of twelve covers the whole set in one order.
Other two ring depths are under two ring insert binders, the complete range under the full binder range, and the brand under Marbig. Tab sets for splitting a deep file are in binder dividers.
