Smooth Backed Keyhole Mat For Larger Hard Floor Desks
Marbig 87207 is the large Economat chairmat, a clear PVC keyhole mat with a smooth back, made for hard floors.
ACCO describe it as an economical solution to protect commercial and residential hard floors, and list natural wood, laminate, tiles, concrete and vinyl as suitable surfaces. The back is smooth rather than spiked, which is what a hard floor mat needs, and ACCO state that the PVC is phthalate free.
The size ACCO give is 115 x 134cm. That leaves space for a desk with a return or a chair that moves between two work surfaces, with the keyhole tongue reaching under the front edge of the desk.
Carpet is the one floor to avoid: a smooth back has nothing to grip pile with. ACCO do not publish a thickness for this code, and we have left the warranty off until the figure is confirmed.
