Marbig Enviro Foolscap Box File with Spring Fitting and 80mm Spine
ACCO Brands New Zealand list the Marbig Box File, code 80080, as a foolscap box file with an 80mm spine and an attached metal spring fitting clip to secure documents. ACCO rate it to hold up to 400 sheets, with no paper weight stated.
ACCO add that the 80mm spine can be laid flat or stored upright. The box photographed on this page is kraft coloured, printed with the Marbig Enviro mark, Foolscap Box File and write-on lines for date and contents on the front. The open views show the spring clip fixed inside the back of the box and a finger hole in the spine panel.
A box file suits papers that are too loose or too thick for a folder: correspondence, signed originals, working papers and reference copies. The spring clip holds the stack in place, while the date and contents lines on the front and the lined spine panel help a shelf of boxes be read at a glance.
The A4 version of this box and the heavy duty models are listed in box files. For longer term storage of closed records see office archive boxes, and for papers still in daily use, suspension files.
