The large Marbig book box in blue is 170mm wide, nearly twice the width of the small size, and this pack 8005801 supplies five of them.
Picture books, big books, magazines and class sets of readers quickly outgrow a slim box. The large size keeps a bundle of them upright with covers facing out, which is how most classroom libraries are browsed. ACCO show one filled with a thick stack of magazines and books, and the low front lets the covers be flicked through without lifting the lot.
Five boxes are enough to sort a small class library into themes, authors or reading levels, one box per category. Depth and height match the small size at 250mm and 270mm, so both sizes line up neatly along one shelf.
The outside is a solid blue and the inside is plain brown board. According to ACCO, spare boxes can be kept flat until they are needed.
