The LIFEPAK CR2 Essential is a semi-automatic defibrillator combining clear voice prompts, QUIK-STEP electrodes and a flashing shock button so the user can visually confirm that everyone is clear before activating therapy - putting trained responders in control of the final step.
The CR2 analyses rhythm automatically and instructs when a shock is indicated. ClearVoice technology detects background noise and adjusts volume for clear guidance in demanding environments. A built-in metronome guides effective CPR compression rate. Child mode delivers lower energy levels appropriate for young children without changing electrodes. IP55 construction (LIFEPAK TOUGH) withstands challenging deployment environments including outdoor and industrial settings.
Available in fully automatic or semi-automatic configurations - this is the semi-automatic (CR-2E) model. Escalating energy up to 360J supports treatment of difficult-to-convert arrhythmias. Bilingual operation allows toggling between two pre-set languages.
