Help students recognise Australian notes and coins
The Creative School Supply Company Money of Australia Chart, supplier code LMP, is a classroom chart that shows students what Australian notes and coins look like.
The Creative School Supply Company describes the chart as a way for students to learn what Australian notes and coins look like. Along the way, it says, they will learn about famous Australians and unique Australian animals. It suits a maths wall where students can refer to it during money lessons.
Having the notes and coins on the wall gives students a reference they can check while sorting, counting or role playing shopping. The famous Australians and animals also open up conversations that link money lessons to history and the natural world.
Maths posters such as All About Time and Counting Is Fun from Learning Can Be Fun can sit alongside it on the same wall. For more numeracy resources, browse classroom charts and posters, maths equipment and teacher resources.
