Link every letter to a picture
The Learning Can Be Fun Magnetic Learning Board The Alphabet, supplier code MLBA, is an interactive magnetic board that helps children link the first letter of a word to a picture starting with that letter.
Learning Can Be Fun shows the alphabet three ways on this board: upper case letters, lower case letters and images that begin with each letter. The brand explains that this kind of play builds alphabet recognition and gives hands-on learning, both of which it describes as needed before a child can learn to read.
Matching a letter to a picture turns early literacy into a game children can repeat on their own or with an adult. Seeing upper and lower case letters together can help them connect the two forms. Learning Can Be Fun notes these boards are clean and can be used over and over again.
Companion boards such as My Calendar, Numbers and Emotions are in the Learning Can Be Fun range, along with alphabet pads and mats. Browse early learning, classroom charts and posters and teacher resources.
