The Learning Can Be Fun Magnetic Learning Board My Calendar, supplier code MLBC, is an interactive magnetic board that helps children prepare for the day while learning the calendar, seasons and weather.
Learning Can Be Fun designed the board so children begin each day by using the magnetic pieces to update the chart with that day's information. The brand calls it a hands-on teaching device and suggests talking through each part as you go, for example asking what activities suit the day's weather. Magnetic learning boards, the brand notes, are clean and can be used over and over.
Updating the board becomes a short daily routine that children can lead themselves. Moving the pieces keeps hands busy while the talk turns to the calendar, the season and the weather outside. Because nothing is written on, the board resets easily for the next morning.
Other magnetic learning boards, including The Alphabet, Numbers and Emotions, are part of the Learning Can Be Fun range. You can also browse classroom charts and posters, early learning and teacher resources.
