Hammer shapes onto cork to build fine motor skills
The Learning Can Be Fun Hammer-It School Pack, supplier code HTSCH1, is a group set of corkboards, wooden hammers, wooden shapes and tacks for hammering patterns onto cork.
Children choose a wooden shape, place it on the cork and secure it with a tack and the wooden hammer. Learning Can Be Fun describes the range as a way to make your own pattern from a variety of shapes. The School Set lists 8 corkboards, 8 wooden hammers, 150 shapes and 240 tacks, so a small group can work at once.
Learning Can Be Fun says the board is a great way to improve fine motor skills, and that it suits both playtime and the classroom. The pieces and hammers are made from wood. With eight boards and eight hammers in the pack, a group of children can each have their own board to work on.
Hammer-It corkboards, wooden shapes and round head tacks are each listed as separate products in the Learning Can Be Fun range. For more hands-on classroom ideas, browse sensory toys, educational craft supplies and classroom supplies.
