An introduction to letter formation and pen control
The Learning Can Be Fun Educational Activity Pad Alphabet, supplier code APA, is an activity pad that introduces young children to writing and to essential alphabet skills.
Learning Can Be Fun built the pad around simple instructions, activities and images. Together they encourage young children to develop the skills needed to master both lowercase and uppercase letter formation. The same activities also work on pen control, which supports the move towards forming clear, recognisable letters on the page and in everyday writing.
Simple instructions and images help young children follow each activity as they begin to write. Because the pad covers both lowercase and uppercase letters, children practise the full alphabet in one place, building letter formation and pen control together page by page.
Activity pads and workbooks on numbers, times tables and preschool skills are listed in the Learning Can Be Fun range. Browse educational supplies, teacher resources and classroom supplies for more early writing support.
