The C4 window mailer in this range that Cumberland rates for laser printing
The Cumberland laser C4 booklet mailer measures 229 x 324mm in 90gsm white stock, with a heat resistant glassine window, a secretive printed lining, a strip seal closure and a laser printer compatibility rating from Cumberland.
This is the code to order when the envelope itself goes through the printer. Cumberland lists it as laser printer compatible and names a heat resistant glassine window, which is what stops a plastic window patch distorting under fuser heat. The two heavier C4 window mailers in the same range, MPN 612344 and MPN 612347, carry no printer rating at all, so a run of addressed envelopes belongs on this code and not on those.
It is 90gsm rather than the 100gsm of the two heavy duty booklet mailers, which is the trade off for feeding cleanly through a printer path. The secretive lining still conceals the contents, and the window still lets a barcoded or addressed enclosure show through when the address is printed on the document instead. Both routes work on this code, which is unusual in the range and the reason it is worth the price step.
The rest of our mailing envelopes, the wider Cumberland range and our mail and packaging supplies carry the other C4 formats and the adjacent sizes.
