The second cassette that stops the ECOSYS running dry
The Kyocera PF-1100 is a 250 sheet paper feeder that sits under an ECOSYS printer and adds a second cassette, so a busy machine holds more paper and needs reloading less often.
A printer with one cassette is a printer somebody has to walk over to. The PF-1100 doubles the tray count rather than the tray size, which matters more than the raw sheet count, because the second cassette can hold a different stock. Letterhead in one, plain A4 in the other, and nobody swaps paper to print a letter.
Kyocera publish the PF-1100 as holding a maximum of 250 sheets at 80gsm, taking 60 to 163gsm stock in A4, A5, A6, B5, Letter, Legal and custom sizes from 105 x 148mm to 216 x 356mm. They also state a maximum of two units per printer.
