Kensington 72422 is the red version of the Pro Fit Mid-Size Wireless Mouse, a right handed 2.4GHz mouse with a nano receiver and a battery rating of up to 12 months.
On a hot desk floor, a black mouse looks like every other black mouse. The metallic red shell on this one makes it obvious whose it is, and the nano receiver stores away so both parts go home together at the end of the day. The mid size body suits right handed users who find full size mice too bulky.
Tracking comes from a 1750 DPI optical sensor over a 2.4GHz link that ACCO describe as long range with minimal interference. Battery changes are infrequent: ACCO rate it at up to 12 months, with the real figure depending on use. It carries a 3 year warranty according to the ACCO specification table.
