A USB-C Laptop Onto Any HDMI Screen
The Kensington CV4200H (K34052WW) is a compact USB-C to HDMI 2.1 adapter that takes a laptop, tablet or phone with a video capable USB-C port to a monitor, TV or projector.
Newer laptops often drop the full size HDMI port, and meeting rooms, lecture theatres and hot desks are still wired for HDMI. This adapter bridges the two with a short fixed lead: the USB-C plug goes into the computer and the room HDMI cable plugs into the socket on the other end. ACCO list support for screens at up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz, and it steps down to 1080p at 60Hz for older displays.
There is nothing to install. ACCO describe it as plug and play with no drivers or software, and list Windows 10 or above, macOS 11 or later and Chrome OS 91 or later as supported. The body is small enough to live in a laptop bag pocket, and Kensington cover it with a 2 year limited warranty.
