The C3550 EQ combines hybrid active noise cancellation with an environmental noise cancelling microphone and a 70 hour battery.
Two different noise problems get solved here. Hybrid ANC deals with what the wearer hears, cutting the background of an open plan floor or a commute. The ENC microphone deals with what the other party hears, stripping room noise out of the outbound side so calls stay intelligible from a busy desk.
Bluetooth 5.4 multipoint holds up to eight paired devices with two active at once, so a laptop and a phone can both stay connected and either can take the call. On-ear volume and call controls handle native mobile calls, and the boom microphone mutes by flipping it up rather than hunting for a button.
An adjustable headband and memory foam cushions carry the weight over long sessions, and the plastic in the housing contains 54 percent post-consumer recycled content.
