Four Rollers And A One Minute Start For Busy Offices
The GBC 480HS is a four roller A3 pouch laminator that ACCO aim at busy offices, with a one minute warm up and an A4 sheet through in about 23 seconds.
In a shared office the laminator gets used by whoever needs it next, often in a hurry. Two things help there. It is ready roughly a minute after switching on, and a status light turns from red to blue with a beep so nobody feeds a pouch in early. Documents from ID card size up to A3 go through the same slot, with guide marks for A4 and A3.
Jams are handled two ways. The machine detects a problem and reverses the pouch back out on its own, and there is also a reverse button on the control panel for a misfed sheet. It turns itself off after 15 minutes idle, carries a 2 year warranty from ACCO and ships with five 80 micron A4 pouches so the first job can start straight away.
