GBC BL80MA2 is a box of 100 A2 laminating pouches in the 80 micron gauge with a gloss finish, listed by ACCO for documents and photos.
A2 is the format of wall charts, site plans, rosters, class posters and noticeboard displays, the things that hang up for months and get touched, pinned and moved along the way. Sealing them in an 80 micron pouch adds a protective skin while keeping the sheet light enough to roll for transport or hang with a couple of pins.
ACCO describe the pouch as extending the life of a document and protecting it against tampering, with a firm, glossy finish from its high plastic content. The current box marks documents and photos as intended uses, and the older box design also shown on this page calls this gauge standard durability.
