GBC BEP51BK50 is a box of 50 black 51mm plastic combs, the top of a GBC range that ACCO say runs from 6mm to 51mm, with 450 sheets per comb printed on the pack.
When a document will not close on anything smaller, 51mm is the answer. Complete tender submissions, due diligence packs, whole year financial records, printed databases and large reference manuals all fit in one volume instead of being split across two. The black spine keeps a very thick book looking tidy and professional.
Not every comb binder closes a comb this big. The standard CombBind CB25 and CB25E stop at 45mm on the ACCO pages, short of 51mm, whereas ACCO describe the CB25 Pro and CB25E Pro as taking combs up to 51mm. Like the smaller sizes the comb reopens for changes and the bound volume lies flat.
