Silver Wire For Light Coloured Covers
GBC BE34W6S100 is a box of 100 silver 6mm binding wires in the 34 loop format, with ACCO listing 55 sheets as the bind capacity.
Silver is the spine colour to reach for when the cover is white, clear or pale, where black wire can look heavy. Newsletters, event programs, menus and short design presentations are the usual jobs for a 6mm silver wire. As ACCO describe it, the bound pages lie flat and fold back on themselves, which helps with a menu or program that sits open on a table.
ACCO have not published a photo of the silver wire itself. The picture on this page is ACCO range photography of black 34 loop wire, used to show the shape and loop pattern only. What you receive is silver, as named for this code.
It closes on the GBC WireBind WB15 and WB15E, both listed for 34 loop wire up to 14mm, and ACCO state a closed wire cannot be reopened or reused. The black 6mm version and larger sizes are in wire binding combs, with front sheets in clear binding covers and more in office binding supplies.
