A Barnyard Of Clay Animals To Make And Keep
FIMO kids form and play Farm 8034 01 LZ is a Staedtler modelling and play set for making a pig, a sheep and a spotted cow from four 42 g blocks of soft FIMO kids clay, then setting them up in a fold-out barn.
The farm animals are built from simple shapes: a fat ball for the pig, a sausage for each leg, small flattened dots for the cow's patches. The step-by-step booklet walks through each one and the included modelling stick adds eyes, nostrils and the curl of a tail.
The clay colours are white, pale pink, brown and black, which covers all three animals. Once they are done, a grown-up sets the oven to 110°C and gives the animals 30 minutes, after which they are firm enough for play. The barn backdrop, cut out templates and stickers make a stage for the finished herd.
Age guidance on the Farm box: 8 years and over, with an adult nearby while modelling.
