Four Coat Colours For A Litter Of Clay Cats
FIMO kids form and play Cat 8034 16 LZ from Staedtler is a set for modelling a group of cats, white, grey, ginger-brown and black, plus a little mouse, with a hay loft backdrop to play in.
The clay palette is all about fur: white, light brown, light grey and black, 42 g of each. Children can model a solid black cat, then mix and patch the others for tabby stripes, white socks or a grey face. The booklet shows how to build each pose, from sitting upright to stretched out asleep.
The modelling stick marks whiskers, paws and ears, and the cut out templates and stickers add a bucket, straw and other barn details.
A grown-up bakes the finished cats at 110°C; after 30 minutes they are solid. Staedtler rate the Cat set for children 8+, used under supervision.
