Deep Teal-Green Clay That Glints Under Light
Galaxy green, article 8010-562, is a 57g FIMO effect block in a dark teal-green with fine flecks of sparkling mica through the clay.
It reads less like outer space and more like deep forest or ocean water, so it suits leaf pendants, mermaid scales, beads for a statement necklace and small home decor pieces. Paired with antique bronze or gold metallic FIMO it makes a rich, jewel-toned combination.
Like the rest of the galaxy colours it is soft and smooth to work, comes scored into 8 portions and is listed by Staedtler as compatible with FIMO soft, leather-effect and professional. After baking, a coat of varnish or some grinding and polishing deepens the glitter, according to Staedtler; our FIMO grind and polish set is made for that step.
Galaxy green sets hard after 30 minutes at 110°C, and it is produced in Germany according to Staedtler.
