Findings To Turn Clay Into Wearable Pieces
FIMO accessory set 8625 SET2 is a box of jewellery blanks and findings from Staedtler, made to carry baked FIMO pieces into rings, earrings and necklaces.
Staedtler call it a selection of jewellery blanks and pitch it as an add-on to their FIMO how-create sets (8025 HTC). In the Staedtler photos the box holds a ring blank with a square tray, fine wire necklace strands, a short chain with a lobster clasp, earring hooks, small metal tubes, eye pins and a bead.
The ring tray takes a flat slice of patterned clay, the tubes slide onto wire as spacers between threaded discs, and the hooks hang drop earrings. Model and bake the clay parts first, then fix or thread them onto the findings.
The box is printed Made in China. Staedtler do not publish a metal type or a nickel statement for these findings, so check with the wearer if metal sensitivity is a concern.
