One band, 25cm, $7 - the cheapest way to keep a student in their seat
A single 25cm stretch band that fits across the legs of a classroom chair. Silent to use.
A student who needs to move will move. The choice is whether they do it by pushing a foot against a band under their desk, or by getting up. This is the cheapest intervention in the whole calming range and often the most effective one, because it works during instruction without anybody noticing.
Buy singles when you need three or four for named students. If you want a whole row of chairs done, the Elizabeth Richards five-pack works out cheaper per chair.
Material is not published. MTA describe it only as "stretchy, durable material" and do not say whether it contains latex. If you have a student with a latex allergy in the room, ask us before you order - we would rather chase the supplier than guess.
