Powershred 425i: 40 Sheets per Pass for Large Offices
Built for large offices with many users, the Powershred 425i feeds 40 sheets of 70 gsm paper per pass and runs on a continuous duty motor through big clear-outs.
On 80 gsm paper Fellowes' manual gives 38 sheets. The 305 mm entry takes wide printouts and continuous forms, and the strips come out at 5.8 mm, security level P-2 (DIN 66399). A 114 litre basket sits behind the cabinet door, the unit rolls on castors, and the recommended daily maximum is 10,000 sheets.
Jam Proof sensing checks the stack and pauses on a misfeed, touch-sensitive SafeSense stops shredding if a hand rests on the feed, and Sleep Mode shuts the shredder down after 2 minutes of inactivity. It has no Auto-Oil: Fellowes fit that only to the cross-cut 425Ci and 485Ci. Warranty is 2 years machine and 20 years cutter from Fellowes Australia.
