Powershred 225Mi: Jam Proof Micro-Cut for a Shared Office
The Powershred 225Mi is a continuous duty micro-cut shredder that takes 16 sheets per pass, built around Fellowes' 100% Jam Proof system so a busy office is not stopped by a misfeed.
Pages are cut to 2 x 12 mm, security level P-5, and fall into a 60 litre pull-out bin housed in a cabinet on castors. Unlike the deskside models it has no cool down to manage: Fellowes rate it for continuous running, which is what makes it suit several people feeding it through the day. It also takes staples, paper clips, credit cards and CDs.
Fellowes describe 100% Jam Proof as preventing paper jams and powering through misfeeds. SafeSense stops shredding when hands touch the 240 mm paper entry, SilentShred is there to limit disruption in a shared room, and it drops into Sleep Mode after a period without use. The Fellowes Australia warranty runs 2 years on the machine, 7 on the cutters.
The 225Mi manual is attached below. Oil it from shredder oils and line it from shredder waste bags, or compare micro cut shredders and the Fellowes range.
