A Classic 20 Sheet Desk Stapler That Also Tacks And Pins
The LX820 is Fellowes' straightforward full-strip desk stapler: 20 sheets, a window that shows when staples are running low, and two extra modes for notice boards and temporary fastening.
For everyday work it closes a 20 sheet set with a standard staple. Open the arm out flat and it becomes a tacker for fixing notices to a pinboard; reverse the anvil for pinning, which bends the legs outward so the staple pulls out easily later. That makes it a good fit for an accounts or admin desk where drafts get fastened, checked and taken apart again.
A full strip of 26/6 or 24/6 staples loads into the magazine, and the indicator window saves the surprise of an empty stapler halfway through a pile. Fellowes give the black LX820 as roughly 169 mm long, 59 mm high and 39 mm wide, weighing 0.38 kg, and describe the construction as durable with a jam-free design.
Fellowes build Microban into the LX820 and cite no test standard for it, so its effect is not something we describe. Warranty: 10 years, as Fellowes Australia list it.
