A Compact A4 Laminator for Home and Small Office Jobs
The Fellowes Cosmic A4 (5249201) is a two roller home and small office laminator for A4 documents. Choose 80 or 125 micron pouches, and Fellowes say it warms up in around 3 minutes.
Fellowes rate Cosmic for medium use, so it handles regular jobs such as school projects, recipe cards, signs for a small shop and the odd certificate. It laminates at 30 cm a minute through a 235 mm entry slot, and a release trigger frees a skewed pouch so you can line it up again instead of forcing it through.
Two practical touches stand out. The machine goes into sleep mode after 30 minutes without use, so a laminator left on over lunch switches itself off, and Fellowes' HeatGuard feature reduces the surface temperature of the housing. A starter kit for 10 documents comes in the box, and Fellowes give it a 2-year warranty.
