A Compact A3 Laminator For The Home Desk
The Fellowes Cosmic A3 is a two-roller pouch laminator for the home or small office, taking documents up to A3 in 80 and 125 micron pouches.
It heats up in about 3 minutes and then runs at 30 cm per minute, which suits a handful of signs, school projects or photos at a time rather than a whole department. Fellowes rate it for medium use and list it as photo capable, and it will also run cold for heat-sensitive items.
A release trigger frees a misfed pouch so it can be straightened and fed again. Two Fellowes features come with it: Auto Shut Off, which puts the machine to sleep after 30 minutes without use, and HeatGuard, which Fellowes say lowers the surface temperature of the casing. A starter kit for 10 documents is in the box and Fellowes cover the machine with a 2 year warranty.
Pick it when you want an A3 entry for the odd poster but mostly laminate A4 at home. For heavier office work, the six-roller Jupiter and Venus take thicker pouches and run much faster.
