Fellowes 53076 is a box of 100 gloss pouches in the 54 x 86mm card size at 175 micron, the Protect 175 weight Fellowes describe as a premium level of document protection.
The pouch size matches the 125 micron card pouch, but the film is noticeably thicker, so the finished card is firm rather than flexible. That matters for cards that live in a wallet, a pocket or a badge holder and come out many times a day. Fellowes' own suggestions are ID, credit, business and visitor cards.
The catch is the laminator. 175 micron is beyond the 80 to 125 micron limit of many desk machines, including the Saturn, Lunar+ and Cosmic ranges we stock. Use a machine listed for thicker pouches, such as the Fellowes Proteus A3 (80 to 250 micron) or the Venus and Jupiter A3 models (up to 250 micron). Fellowes say the pouches themselves suit all laminator brands, provided the machine takes the thickness.
