A Roomy Marine Blue Pad for Wide Mouse Movements
The Fellowes Breyta XL in Marine is a 280 x 210 mm fabric mouse pad for people who move the pointer with long, sweeping strokes rather than small flicks of the wrist.
Fellowes size the XL at over 25% larger than their standard mousepads, and they say the extra area is there to encourage greater movement. On a dual monitor setup, where the cursor has a long way to travel, the bigger surface means fewer lifts and resets of the mouse. Marine is a muted blue-grey that sits well on dark timber, black laminate and grey desks.
The top is fabric with a spill resistant coating, which Fellowes say keeps the pad cleaner for longer, and the edges are flat stitched to stop fraying. Underneath, a non-slip base keeps it where you put it. Fellowes list it for optical and laser mice, build Microban into it, and cover it for 5 years under a limited warranty.
