Move The Keyboard Off The Desktop And Under It
The Fellowes Office Suites Underdesk Keyboard Drawer screws to the underside of a desk and slides the keyboard and mouse out on a tray, clearing the work surface for papers.
Fellowes' figures: the keyboard tray is 20-1/8 x 7-3/4 inches and takes standard and ergonomic keyboards; the mouse tray is 7 x 7-1/2 inches and fits on the left or right of the keyboard, or stows beneath it. The drawer travels 10 inches on its slides and includes a plastic wrist rest. It does not tilt.
The mounting brackets give three drop heights below the desk: 2-1/2, 2-1/8 or 1-3/4 inches (64, 53 or 45 mm on the instruction sheet). Before buying, measure under your desk: Fellowes call for 23.5 inches (about 597 mm) of width and 14.5 inches (about 368 mm) of depth, clear of crossbars, rails or supports. Fitting means drilling pilot holes into the underside of the desk and screwing in the brackets, using the drill template on the instructions, which you can download on this page.
