Five Hundred Sheet Binding Without the Bulk
Quasar+ 500 is the manual binder for an office that binds often and sometimes binds big, with a fold down lid so it packs away between jobs.
Fellowes rate it for frequent use. A full width handle drives a punch of up to 25 sheets, and documents can grow to 500 sheets. That is a big step up from the 300 sheet Pulsar range for annual reports, policy manuals and bound board papers, without moving up to a heavy duty machine.
Accuracy comes from vertical sheet loading and an adjustable edge guide. The angled comb rake helps feed punched sheets onto the comb, a storage tray with the patented comb and document measure sorts sizes, and the chip tray pops open when full.
On the largest comb, Fellowes' figures differ: their web listing gives 51mm and the printed manual gives 50mm, so check the manual before buying the very largest combs. A starter kit for 10 documents and a 2 year warranty from Fellowes Australia are included.
