The Quasar-E 500 is for mid-sized to large offices that bind thick documents regularly and would rather press a switch than pull a handle.
Fellowes give it an electric punch of 25 sheets of 80gsm paper at a time and a binding capacity of 500 sheets. That pairing suits long reports and manuals that would otherwise mean many pulls of a hand lever.
Sheets load vertically against an adjustable edge guide, and Fellowes' patented comb and document measure in the storage tray takes the guesswork out of choosing combs. A pull-out chip tray collects the punched waste.
The largest comb is quoted two ways by Fellowes, 51mm online and 50mm in the manual, so we show both. Fellowes include a binding starter kit for 10 documents and give a 2 year warranty in Australia.
