Replacement A3 Cutting Strips for Electron A3 and Proton A3
Fellowes 5411601 is a pack of three A3 cutting strips for the Electron A3 and Proton A3 rotary trimmers: the strip in the base that the blade runs against.
Fellowes describe the strip as acting like a cutting mat to help ensure a clean, precise trim. Over months of use the blade wears a groove in it, and cuts start to drag or leave a ragged edge even with a sharp blade. Fitting a fresh strip fixes that.
The strips are reversible, so you can flip one over before replacing it, and Fellowes say they can be cut to size. The A3 models have a 460 mm cut, and the trimmer manual, downloadable on this page, shows how to change the cutting strip.
