Two Straight SafeCut Blades to Keep a Trimmer Cutting Cleanly
Fellowes 5411401 is the everyday replacement for a Neutron, Neutron Plus, Electron or Proton trimmer: two straight cut blades, each sealed in a SafeCut cartridge.
When a trimmer starts tearing paper or leaving a furry edge, the blade is usually blunt. Swapping in a fresh straight cartridge brings back a clean cut, and with two in the pack you have a spare ready for next time. Fellowes say each cartridge is easily exchanged and stored integrally, so the spare can stay with the trimmer at all times.
The SafeCut cartridge keeps the blade enclosed except when in use. The rotary trimmer manual, downloadable on this page, covers changing the blade cassette and the cutting strip, which also wears over time.
