Fellowes rate the 12mm white wire comb for 81 to 100 sheets, a size for course readers, thick booklets and planners with white or light covers.
Course readers and planners are thick, carried around and opened many times a day. A 12mm wire comb has room for up to 100 sheets, and the white finish stays unobtrusive on light designs.
It is an A4 comb with 34 loops for 34 loop wire binding machines. Fellowes binder manuals note that a loosely closed comb lets sheets fall out, so close it fully to the 12mm mark on the closing scale.
