A Compact Half-Strip EasyPress Stapler In Black
The LX840 is Fellowes' half-strip EasyPress stapler: it takes 25 sheets like the full-size LX850 but in a shorter black body that fits a drawer, a small desk or a shared workspace pedestal.
Half strip means it holds half a standard strip of staples, which is what keeps the stapler short. You refill a little more often, and in return get a stapler that tucks away when the desk is cleared at the end of a hot-desking day. Fellowes' EasyPress action keeps the press light for its 25 sheet rating.
It has the same practical extras as its bigger sibling: a detachable staple remover kept in the base, a paper alignment guide, a soft-grip handle and a low staple window. It uses 26/6 or 24/6 staples. Fellowes list the LX840 at 93 mm high, 39 mm wide and 130 mm deep, weighing 0.25 kg.
Microban is part of how Fellowes describe the LX840. No test standard is given and we do not make claims about it. Fellowes Australia list a 10 year warranty on the model.
