The Entry Footrest: Free Floating Platform, Two Heights
The Fellowes Standard Footrest 48121 is the straightforward, lower cost choice in the Fellowes range: a graphite plastic platform covered in round bumps that floats on its base, so it tilts with your feet, and a base that turns around to give a second height.
Fellowes give the platform as 42.5 x 30cm and the two heights as 8.5 and 10.5cm, with the incline up to about 25 degrees. To change height you rotate the base 180 degrees, and the base itself is moulded LOW POSITION and HIGH POSITION so it is clear which way round it is. The bumps give grip and a textured feel underfoot, and at 1.42kg it is easy to move from desk to desk.
It is a sensible pick for fitting out several desks at once or for a first footrest at home. It carries a 5-year limited Fellowes Australia warranty, and the one-page height guide is downloadable.
