Fortishred 3250HS: Departmental P-7 Shredding With a 100 Litre Bin
The Fortishred 3250HS brings the identical 0.8 x 5 mm (P-7) cut as Fellowes' deskside high security model to a shared machine, with a 260 mm paper entry, 5 to 7 sheets per pass and a 100 litre bin.
Fellowes call it a shredder for highly confidential paper waste in departmental use. A larger 640 W motor runs continuously, so a team can feed it all day, and a Sheet Capacity Sensor shows how close each pass is to the limit, which Fellowes say helps prevent paper jams. Each A4 sheet ends up as roughly 15,000 particles.
An electronically controlled transparent shield in the paper entry stops the machine when opened. Sleep Mode powers it down when idle, though Fellowes quote both 30 minutes and an hour for that, so we do not state a time. The cabinet stands on castors and with 100 litres of pull-out bin it can go a long while between emptyings. Fellowes Australia cover the machine and cutters for 1 year.
