AutoMax 200M: Micro-Cut Security Without Standing at the Slot
The AutoMax 200M pairs a 200 sheet auto feed tray with micro-cut shredding, so a small office can load a pile of payslips or client letters, close the lid and leave the machine to reduce them to 2 x 14 mm particles.
That cut is what sets the 200M apart from its cross cut sibling, the 200C. Fellowes rate it at security level P-5 and put the count at over 2000 particles per A4 sheet, and because micro-cut waste packs down tighter, they say the 32 litre pull-out bin needs emptying less often than on the cross cut version. A 10 sheet manual slot takes the odd page and credit cards.
Fellowes size it for one to three users. AccuFeed handles folded, crumpled and stapled paper, a full tray takes about 6 minutes, and the AutoMax manual lets it work non-stop for up to 20 minutes, after which it rests for 25. SilentShred keeps the noise down, Auto Reverse backs out a jam and Sleep Mode switches it to standby after two minutes idle. It sits on castors and carries a 2 year machine and 7 year cutter warranty from Fellowes.
