A Larger 63mm Letter Clip With Long Prongs
Esselte 55411 is a box of 36 chrome letter clips at 63mm, a large bulldog style clip that ACCO give a 45mm prong length for deeper hold on a stack.
The prong length is how far the jaws reach in from the edge of the paper. A longer reach holds a thicker or looser bundle more securely than a small clip, which suits reports, course notes, quotes with drawings attached and bundles of forms. ACCO describe a robust spring mechanism and a chrome coating.
A hole in the clip lets it hang on a hook, so clipped paperwork can go on a wall rack in a workshop, warehouse or classroom rather than sitting on a desk.
A box of 36 keeps a team supplied for months. For bigger bundles there is the 75mm box; for single sheets the 31mm and 38mm.
