The Middle Length Brass Fastener
Esselte 42730 are 19mm brass plated steel paper fasteners, the middle length in the Esselte range, for documents too thick for the short sizes but not bulky enough for the 25mm.
These are the round headed split fasteners, often called brads. Push the spear point through a hole, then open the two legs flat on the back. Because the head is a neat brass dome, they are popular where the front should look tidy: presentation folders, menus, certificates and school projects with moving parts.
ACCO describe the construction as brass plated steel with a round head and spear point, sold 200 to a box. The range runs 9mm, 13mm, 19mm and 25mm, so you can pick by thickness.
ACCO do not publish a sheet capacity for any length.
