No 109 Bands When A Bundle Is Really Big
Esselte 37898 is a 500g bag of Superior No 109 rubber bands , natural colour. ACCO say the bands are smooth and consistent in thickness.
In the ACCO photos the No 109 bands are long, broad loops, well beyond the size used on a single file. They suit jobs such as strapping a stack of archive boxes, holding rolled mats or banners, keeping bundles of timber offcuts or garden stakes together, or closing a large tub of supplies. ACCO list the material as natural rubber for office, warehouse and home use.
The weight comes from the bag label rather than the ACCO page, where one line shows a data error. The label reads Size No.109, 500g, code 37898 and Made in Vietnam, with no dimensions, and ACCO list none either. No count is published.
