The Card File Ring
At 38mm, the Esselte No.4 hinged ring is sized for a handheld pile of index or cue cards, the kind you flip through one at a time.
ACCO describe metal rings that snap open easily, listed for keys, sample swatches, documents and curtains. Their photo for this code shows ruled index cards on a single ring, held in one hand, which is exactly where the size works: big enough for a useful stack, small enough to pocket.
Uses include presentation cue cards, revision and study cards, recipe cards in a kitchen, stocktake tags and colour swatches at a trade counter. Punch one hole in the corner, or two and use a pair of rings for a flatter flip.
There are 100 rings in the box, printed x100 and 38mm with Product Code 37736.
