Square Owl Clips That Hold Steady
Esselte Owl No.3 paper clips are 25mm square-shaped clips in a chromed finish, sold in a box of 100.
The Owl shape has a flat, squared end instead of the rounded loops of a standard paper clip. ACCO say that gives more stability than traditional paper clips, so the clip sits square on the page and is less inclined to twist or slide off a small set.
At 25mm the No.3 is a size for everyday document fastening: a letter with its attachment, a cheque with its remittance, a handful of notes. ACCO make Owl clips in a variety of sizes, and describe the chromed finish as sleek and durable for office and home use.
For bulkier sets, a Nalclip or a bulldog clip holds more. For colour coding, the Esselte plastic coated clips (40845) come in assorted colours.
