The 75mm Binder For Thick Punched Files
Esselte 0006496 is a box of 100 No.649 paper binders, 75mm tinned steel split pins with a washer for each.
A paper binder goes through a punched hole in a stack of paper, the washer slides over the legs at the back, and the two legs fold flat to lock the pile together. It is the old fashioned way to hold a thick file permanently without a binder or a folder, and it is still common for court bundles, board papers, submissions and records sent to archive. The 75mm size is the longest on the box, which lists 63mm No.648 alongside it.
The box describes the binders as made from tinned steel, holding multiple sheets of pre-punched paper, and supplied with binder and washer. ACCO add that the pointed ends and washer keep papers secure. They do not publish a sheet capacity for this size, so match the leg length to the thickness of your stack.
See the shorter sizes in paper binders, a punch from 2 hole paper punches, other paper fasteners, and more from Esselte.
